Three Paths Through the Work Permit Process
Mekong Counsel offers three defined engagements, each scaled to a different situation. A brief consultation is usually enough to confirm which one fits.
Back to HomeHow We Run Each Engagement
Every engagement begins with a review of the situation: who is being hired, what the employer's company structure looks like, whether BOI promotion is involved, and what documentation is already in hand. From this review we produce a document checklist and a written scope that describes what we will do, what the fee is, and how long the process is likely to take.
We then work through a defined sequence of stages — document collection, pre-submission review, filing, and post-submission follow-up — providing written confirmation at each stage. No work proceeds to the next stage until the previous one is complete and confirmed.
1. Situation Review
We assess the employee and employer's circumstances and confirm the appropriate permit category.
2. Document Preparation
We prepare the complete file for both employee and employer, with a pre-submission internal review.
3. Filing and Attendance
We attend the Department of Employment or BOI office and manage any case officer correspondence.
4. Issuance and Handover
We collect the issued permit and provide the client with a written summary of conditions and renewal dates.
